How To Build A Simple Cheap Treehouse

I think this may be my favorite post to date. I have always wanted a treehouse. In fact, I used to bug my dad to build me one all the time. Thinking back though, we didn’t have a lot of money to spend on my silly child fantasies, but if my dad knew about this project my dreams could have come true.

This is technically an open treehouse. A platform if you will. This is a perfect starter for anyone on a budget or for parents who want to get their kids used to the idea of a treehouse.

This design is easily modified to add walls and build bigger at a later date. All-in-all, if you used recycled wood this project could be very affordable for any family. Check out the full tutorial in the link below.
