I personally have only done this a few times. The first time I tried this was with a blueberry bush, I wasn’t expecting anything but tried and what do you know, I got a second blueberry bush for free. I tried it again and it worked. The second time, I tried it with a lilac bush, I failed every time I tried. So propagation is a great way to get free plants, trees and bushes but it can be hit and miss.
