I am amazed and feel a little silly that I am only just learning of this. I am 31 years old and for 31 years I never knew this was even possible. This could change everything. These would be awesome to build when camping to power LED lights.

Granted these earth batteries are not going to power your house, they can produce enough power for LED lights, clocks and if you made more and wired them up in series you could produce enough power to keep batteries topped up. Either way, this is a cool project for the kids too. Check it out.
