I just love recipes from back in the day! Everything seemed more simple, easier to cook and you could use just about anything you hads in your cupboards to make a hearty, filling dish for your family.

I was taking a look at easy recipes to cook because my hubby is away for a few days and came across a collection of 10 tried and tested depression / WW2 recipes that I thought you guys would like to test out. Even I am going to be testing a few of these out.
